Heavenly Gondola
No matter winter or summer or if you ski or not, any person traveling up the Heavenly Gondola will definitely appreciate the wonderful views of Lake Tahoe from the Gondola. The Heavenly Gondola's are eight-passanger cars that leave from the middle of town and travel 2.4 miles up the mountain in about 12 minutes.

High Camp at Squaw Valley, USA
Located at 8,200 feet you can ride the Squaw Valley Aerial Tram to a central activity hub that offers great activities and views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding mountains. During the summer months you can enjoy several hiking trails or you can lounge by the pool. During winter you can enjoy such activities as skiing, ice-skating, or snow tube. There is a restaurant and lounge as well as a small Olympic museum.
